Visa Issuance

• Visa type: Short-Term General (C-3-1)
• Visa Issuance Location: Republic of Korea Embassy or consulate. Visa is issued by the Republic of Korea Embassy or Consulate under the assignment given by the Minister of Justice. (Immigration Act Article 8, Section 2, Regulations Articles 11 and 9)

  ※ In special cases, you may apply for the visa after receiving certificate of visa issuance approval from the Immigration Office.

• Required documents
  • 1. Valid Passport (at least 6 months validity)
  • 2. Visa Issuance Application
  • 3. Other documents as required by the applied visa status.
  (For more accurate information, the secretariat of ICC 2024 recommends you contact your local Korean Embassy to ask about necessary documents for visa issuance. Also highly recommend you apply for the visa at least 2 months before your departure for the Republic of Korea as the visa process may take time.)
